LG’s KU950, Digital Video Broadcasting Handheld (DVB-H), builds on the company’s wireless technological leadership that was behind the world’s first UMTS (WCDMA)-based HSDPA/DVB-H phone. The phone features a mobile TV receiver with wide-swing screen and comes with almost every feature for a traditional home-bound TV/VCR: program recording, screen capture and even the ability to watch TV and talk on the phone at the same time. It provides fast video streaming through its 1.8Mbps HSDPA capabilities. The handset comes in a modern designed casing which has a screen rotating mechanism which reveals the keypad. The user can browse the Internet and transfer media files at high speed using HSDPA and 3G mobile broadband. The handset measures 102mm x 53mm x 19 mm and weights a total of 116 grams which feels good to hold in a single hand, as well as providing a slim handset to fit in the user’s pocket. The LG KU950 comes with a large and clear screen which displays up to 262k colors on a 240 x 320 pixels resolution screen.
