The Samsung F200 is an ultra slim mobile phone which will catch potential user’s eye with its small streamline casing. The phone is slim & thin which comes with a user friendly swivel opening mechanism.

The Samsung F200 is a mobile phone styled like an MP3 player. It follows on from the similar Samsung “Blush” X830 and is basically a slightly cut-down version of the SGH-F210.

The phone comes with a 1.4 Inch colour screen which when in the closed position covers the entire cover of the casing & when the handset is swiveled open the user can access the slim but useable keypad.

The Samsung F200 will fit into the user’s life beautifully, as well as fitting into the user’s bag or pocket with ease. The handset comes in a choice of two colours either a luxurious red coloured casing or a bright blue colour.

The F200 is small which only measures 19.8mm deep by 32.6mm wide by 89.5mm long & weighs a very light 76 grams. The SGH-F200’s display is an unusual 128 x 220 pixel panel in 262,000 colours. Internal memory is just 5MB, but the phone contains a microSD slot, and it can take up to 2GB of memory expansion.

The phone works on a tri band network which allows the user to use their phone in Europe & the majority of the US.

This looks like an MP3 player because it is an MP3 player, or to be more precise the Samsung F200 is an MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / WMA player with an FM radio thrown in for good measure. It also supports various Digital Rights Management (DRM) formats.

The F200 also supports a music library and music setup wizard application. The small screen isn’t ideal for web browsing, although the SGH-F200 does have a WAP browser. Remember that Samsung are one of the few mobile phone manufacturers who make MP3 players, so you can expect the F200 to be quite usable despite it’s unusual format.

The user can easily stay in contact with their nearest & dearest friends & family with a good selection of messaging services available on their new mobile phone.

The phone comes with a MMS multimedia messaging service, SMS text messaging service & an EMS enhanced messaging service. The user can share their images with their friends & family using the MMS service which can have sound & text added to the image for a fun filled messaging experience. The MMS message is quick & easy to create & allows the user to share a fun message with others. The SMS service & EMS service allows the user to create a quick message which can be shared between compatible messaging contacts. The messaging services on the Samsung F200 provide the user with a quick & convenient way to stay in contact with others.

The user can enjoy 3D sound from their F200 & the phone supports both polyphonic & MP3 style ringing tones.

The phone supports Bluetooth wireless connectivity which allows the user to connect their handset to a compatible PC or laptop without the use of cables to transfer their music files.

The phone supports USB connectivity which allows the user to gain a cabled connection between the Samsung F200 & another compatible device.
