Samsung SGH-I300
The first smartphone to use Microsofts new Mobile OS is the Samsung SGH-i300. Samsung is emphasizing the SGH-i300’s ability to store a large number of music files, because it is equiped with 3Gb microdrive. It can play songs in MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, and OGG formats. This device can be hooked to a PC’s USB port, and its hard drive will appear as a removable drive, allowing music to be played directly from the SGH-i300. In addition, the new operating system will give this device a slightly different user interface than smartphones running the current version of Windows Mobile. This tri-band (900, 1800, 1900 MHz) GSM/GPRS smartphone also include a 1.3 megapixel camera. Other features on the SGH-i300 include Bluetooth, stereo speakers and all the usual functions you’d expect such as a WAP browser and email client.
