Released for Sprint, the Sanyo M1 offers 1 GB of internal memory capabile of playing and storing up to 16 hours of music or a combination of music, photos, video, and voice recording. Music can be easily loaded either from a PC or over-the-air music downloads from Sprint Music Store.
The M1 also offers access to Sprint TV, with more than 50 channels of content including more than 20 live channels and top-quality sound through stereo external speakers.
Additional key features include a 2.0-megapixel camera and camcorder, built-in speakerphone, Bluetooth technology, large easy-to-read external LCD display, external navigation controls and an internal antenna. With this phone you can transfer unprotected MP3, AAC, and AAC+ files from a PC to the M1 using the included USB cable (high speed USB2.0 data transfer), manage music with Playlists using the Sprint Music Store Player, background music playing mode. Phone has Stereo speakers, SANYO speakerphone with dedicated internal and external speakerphone buttons, High quality stereo audio headset output, Stereo Headset with Mic Adapter. The 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and digital zoom is quite impressive.
Phone is equipped with Dual Color LCD Displays: 2.0-inch QVGA TFT LCD Main Display, 260K-color (240W x 320H pixels) and 1.3-inch TFT LCD External Display, 260K-color (128W x 96H pixels) that makes it easy to navigate music selections with the phone closed. Phone is Java enabled and supports 2-way SMS (Text, Voice), Picture Mail, Video Mail, Voice Mail, Email, Instant Messaging (IM).
