I have a business trip planned for next month in Manila, Philippines and would like to know if I can use my US cell phone over there. I was informed by my buddy that cell phones that uses SIM cards can be used in the Philippines. I have an old Nokia 1208. . . Can I use this cell phone unit ?

If you ask any cell phone carrier why you don’t get cell signal in your house, they say because you’re inside a building. No carrier guarantees that you will get service. I want to know what part of a building ACTUALLY prevents the signal from reaching inside a building.

Because I barely talk on cell phones, I text text text, lol. . So I was wondering if any company had any cell phones that are prepaid , plus free texting?
I don’t care what company it is, I don’t care at all.
Or, If you absolutely don’t know ANY, a cell phone company that has the lowest monthly bill and free texting? [1st option first]

I want to buy a cell phone. I want it to have a camera,bluetooth, and a memory slot. I would like the screen to be a little bigger too so i can see more when i go on the internet on my phone. So what would be a good phone that fits those descriptions best?

I’ve been trying to do my homework, and unfortunately the cell phones that look really cool with the best features are not usable where I live. verizon seems to have the coolest, with T-mobile next. I can get an iphone here, but the others seem better. Unfortunately, no coverage here for either company. Why can’t you just pick a phone you like and it work with a different company?

Do you think that you get what you pay for? That if you buy cheap, you get cheap. No matter what cell phone you have, if your cell phone company is bad, than your connection and things would be bad. Also If you chose a cheap plan that you get cheap and poor coverage?

I don’t have a landline phone anymore and I only have a cell phone but I realized just now my cell phone died and it cant be charged. Now I dont have a phone number for anyone to contact me or to contact them. So what would I do in a emergency? Whose phone would I use then? How is someone going to contact me if I dont have a phone? Thats why i rather have a backup lanline phone too as a spare incase my cell dies.
